Prelicensing Classes
(continuing educations & general questions below)

Can I take prelicensing classes online, by CD, by correspondence course or some method other than classroom instruction?

No.  Prelicensing must be done in the classroom, which includes our "self-paced" in-class instruction.  License renewal courses, however, may be done via "distance learning" (i.e., online).

How much does it cost?
As low as $499 for the prelicensing course.  See complete list of courses and prices.

When do I get my education certificate?

After you have passed the School examination.
How long do I have after passing the School exam do I have until I must take the state examination?
Ten years.  You must submit your application for salesperson or broker license within ten years of meeting the education requirement.
How long do I have after passing the state examination to activate my license with ADRE?
One year.  You must activate your license within one year after taking the School examination; you should also allow sufficient time for ADRE to process your application.
Continuing Education Classes
(general questions below)
When do I get my Certificate of Completion?
At the end of class.

Will ADRE accept a faxed copy of the Certificate of Completion?
Yes.  If you renew in person, ADRE wants you to turn in a copy, not the original.  If you renew online, you will not even need to provide ADRE with a copy, but you should keep copies of all education certificates for your own records.

If it is lost or damaged, can I get a duplicate Certificate of Completion?
