How Do I Get Started ?
Congratulations! You have made the decision to get your real estate license. Embarking upon a new career is very exciting. We will help you to make the process fast, easy, enjoyable and (of course) educational.
STEP 1

Do you qualify for a real estate license?
|
Start by checking to see if you QUALIFY to obtain a salesperson or broker real estate license. (You will be taken to the specific page in ADRE's website that sets forth the minimum requirements).

STEP 2
|
Gather and review forms and information
|
Once you have confirmed that you qualify, then you should read and print out the Arizona Candidate Information Bulletin (you can also pick up a copy from our School - its FREE). To view and/or print the Candidate Information Bulletin, click the link below:
This document has the forms that you will need to get started, information about the real estate exam, sample exam questions and much more.

STEP 3

Know the costs, fees, etc.

STEP 4
|
SIGN UP FOR CLASSES
|
Stop by our School and enroll (during normal business hours; its easy, it will only take a few minutes and you can enroll the same day you start your course)
or

STEP 5
|
Take the School Exam
|
After you have completed all 18 Sessions of the Self-Paced Course, you must take and pass the School examination.
|
STEP 6
|
Take the state exam
|
When you have satisfied your education requirement, you must then contact Thomson Prometric (formerly Experior) to schedule your state examination at one of several local testing sites.
You may choose any of the listed testing sites, but the site closest to this School is located at the Sylvan Education Center, at Litchfield and Van Buren:

The Arizona Real Estate National Exam (Part 1) consists of 80 questions on real estate principles, practices and federal laws governing real estate with a time limit of two hours. A minimum score of seventy-five percent (75%) is required to pass. The Arizona Real Estate State-Specific Exam (Part 2) consists of 60 questions on Arizona-specific real estate laws an rules with a time limit of 1.5 hours. A minimum score of seventy-five percent (75%) is required to pass.

STEP 7
|
Complete post-testing education
|
Either before or after you have passed the state exam, you will need additional education to activate your license.
Salespersons must take a six hour contract writing "boot camp" class before you can begin working for a broker.
Brokers must take a Broker Management Clinic before you can activate your broker's license.
Designated Brokers must take a Broker Management Clinic every two years.
Salesperson and Brokers must take 24 hours of continuing education (in specific categories) every two years.
